Compare your listing to competing properties and determine a way to stand out. Focus on what makes your property unique and different from your competitors and demonstrate that through the photos and copy you choose.
2. Interior Photos
Make sure your listing includes comprehensive photos with at least 5 of the unit's interior. Our analysis shows that property listings with 5 or more interior photos receive 28% more leases than comparable properties with less than 5 interior photos.
3. Floor Plan Diagrams
Add floor plan diagrams with room dimensions to all of your listings. Our analysis shows that property listings with at least one floor-plan diagram receive 38% more leases than comparable properties with no floor plans.
4. Attention-Grabbing Headlines
Write a compelling headline by avoiding vague and generic wording. Use specifics to highlight your location, an amenity and an interior feature. Example Headline: Within 3 miles of Upscale Shopping, Courtyards filled with Flowering Trees, Brand New Kitchen Appliances
5. Details
Renters need details up front to make the call. At a minimum, your listing should include your lease terms, security deposit and application fees, current monthly pricing and whether utilities are included and your pet policy and fees. |
